The colorful festival of Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which comes in February end or early March. Also known as Vasant Utsav, Holi marks the onset of Spring in India. The main day, Holi, also known as Dhuli Vandana in Sanskrit,also Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other.
Holi in 2020 will start on Tuesday, the 10th of March and will continue for 2 days until Wednesday, the 11th of March.
