The colorful festival of Holi is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima which comes in February end or early March. Also known as Vasant Utsav, Holi marks the onset of Spring in India. The main day, Holi, also known as Dhuli Vandana in Sanskrit,also Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing coloured powder and coloured water at each other.
Holi in 2017 will start on Monday, the 13th of March and will continue for 2 days until Tuesday, the 14th of March.
