Festivals in Atlanta

The Atlanta Festival brings all the aromas, sounds, tastes and traditions. There's no better system to experience an area's history and charm than with festivals and events.

With huge and growing Latino and Asian communities, it's no astonish that Atlanta is home to many international festivals. Atlanta is a big city where festivals become popular in the warm spring months. Many of Atlanta's festivals and events show its multi-ethnic population, including St. Patrick's Day festival, August's Latino celebration and a mixture of African-American events. Other things to see in Atlanta's calendar comprise the various film festivals and traditional New Year's celebrations.Some of the biggest and best-known festival of Atlanta are:

Festival Peachtree Latino at Underground Atlanta, and the parade of this events celebrating the cultures of 22 countries.Feria Latina at Stone Mountain Park in April combines carnival rides. Melodious music and Latin cuisine with various other activities. El Dia de los Muertos day of the dead, in October is an antique festival fixed in Mexican heritage.

Celebrate the Dia de los Reyes in January with storytelling, music, live performances, food and fun; (404) 814-4000. The Mexican Consulate, the Instituto de Mexico and the Fulton County Arts Council co-sponsor equally of these actions at the Atlanta History Center.

The lovable Auburn Spring Fest in early May is an Atlanta tradition for two decades and features live performances; a literary festival; a BBQ Cook-Off; children's activities; and the Latino Experience, a celebration of Latin culture.
