Mexico Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo day marks a very unique event in the history of Mexico. It is first and foremost regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican state capital city of Puebla and all over the state of Puebla, with some limited recognition in other parts of Mexico, and particularly in U.S. cities with an important Mexican population.

The best and most authentic Cinco de Mayo celebrations happen in locations with the highest focus of Mexican people. At present time all citizen of Mexico celebrate Cinco de Mayo by decorating with plenty of flowers, the colors of Mexico's flag white green and red putting on sombreros, salsa, Mexican folk music, or mariachi music, and joining the fiestas!

For the most part, the holiday of Cinco de Mayo is more of a regional holiday in Mexico, celebrated very energetically in the state of Puebla. There is few limited recognition of the holiday all over the country with dissimilar levels of enthusiasm, but it's nothing like that found in Puebla. In Mexico or wherever the culture of Mexico this festival celebrated with families, neighbors and friends. All gather and enjoy the fiesta in honor of the event.

Mexican People celebrate this festival with the traditional mariachi music, vocal soloist and dancers that are an important part of the Cinco de Mayo Celebration. A few days before the event, plentys of stalls start aligning on the streets near the Zcalo of all the towns. Restaurants all over offer the most customary of Mexican cuisine: Mole Poblano. A thick spicy sauce that is comes from mixture with more than 40 ingredients, and is spread on top of turkey or chicken and Mexican style red rice. Mole is so famous that it is served on nearly every essential occasion.
